Simply select five seminars that provide leading-edge information, tools and techniques in such areas as statistical process control, failure mode and effects analysis, process improvement, and advanced problem solving - to name a few.
At the end of your program you will have attained a new skill set that positions you well to answer your company's demands for increased productivity and meet the challenge of increased global competition.
Requirements for the Program
To earn your WPI Certificate in Process Improvement, complete a total of five workshops from Groups A and B below within three years.
Group A - Core Workshops
Choose at least three

- Developing the Team Process for Continuous Improvement
- Basic Statistical Process Control
- Introduction to Design of Experiments
- Introduction to Advanced Design of Experiments
- Advanced Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis
- Six Sigma Tolerance Stack-Ups Analysis
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- Value Stream Process Mapping
- Understanding and Implementing Lean Tools and Techniques
Group B - Electives
Choose up to two other workshops from the following:
- Project Management
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Lean Enterprise
- Leadership and Management Development
