Program Description
One of the most important skills in business today is the ability to communicate effectively. Whether speaking to one person, participating in a team meeting or delivering a formal presentation, you need to get your ideas across clearly and succinctly.
In WPI's Improving Your Communication and Meeting Skills workshop you will practice and critique yourself in a variety of communication situations. In a comfortable classroom environment, you will practice one-on-one communication exercises, participate in and facilitate team meetings and deliver a short presentation.
At the end of this practical workshop you will have gained new skills in how to organize and present your ideas, relate to your audience and the situation, make your point in a meeting, and actively listen and respond to those with whom you work.
