IT Leadership Development Program

New Program Begins September 2013

Where Great IT Professionals Become Great Communicators and Leaders

Many of today’s senior information technology managers are being unwillingly driven away from strategic and executive level conversations due to poor communication and relationship skills within their IT teams. WPI’s IT Leadership Development Program is designed to help CIOs build the leadership and communication skills of their teams, and in turn become more exceptional leaders and communicators themselves.

Who should attend?

IT professionals with seven or more years’ experience, from organizations of all sizes in all industries. Typically, participants are high potentials reporting to the CIO or Senior IT Leader within their organization. Participants will learn to:

  • Enhance their managerial vision
  • Increase their leadership effectiveness
  • Take a stronger strategic role within the organization
  • Enjoy a more productive relationship between IT and business partners

Personal coaching sessions, professional consultation

All attendees receive personal coaching sessions during the training residencies and the intersession workplace application phases. Also, CIO panels, made up of seasoned professionals, will offer insights into how CIOs make decisions, lead organizational change, measure performance, and manage their careers.

Developed by CIOs for Their Senior IT Teams and High Potentials
