Fundamentals of Engineering
WPI’s Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Review prepares candidates for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, the first step in becoming a licensed professional engineer. Power Systems Management Graduate Certificate Program
In collaboration with ECNE, WPI is proud to offer the graduate certificate program in Power Systems Management to companies and individuals in New England. This master’s level specialized program combines essential topics in power systems engineering with technology-focused business courses. Classes will be held at ECNE in Windham, NH beginning January 2008.

Introduction to Management & Communications Program
Through a variety of formats including lecture, role playing, self assessments, group discussions and experiential exercises, you will develop a new set of skills to help you effectively carry out your management responsibilities and improve your own and your organization's productivity. Each segment includes specific tools and techniques that can be put to use immediately upon return to the workplace. WPI's Introduction to Management & Communications Certificate Program features the latest essential skills necessary for new supervisors and managers to be successful.
Advanced Management Program
The WPI Advanced Management Program is designed for professional managers who have several years of experience and would like to enhance their skills. The topics were carefully selected to address all functional areas in which managers must be expert. This program will provide specific tools and techniques to enable managers to quickly implement their new skills. Presentations are highly interactive giving participants the opportunity for team experiments, group discussions, role playing, case studies, in-class management demonstrations, and addressing specific areas of students' concerns.
Executive Leadership Program
The program is designed especially for senior managers who have been targeted to assume significant managerial responsibilities. You will acquire the skills needed for managerial success such as strategy formulation, negotiation, conflict resolution, decision-making, implementing change and managing culture.
You will have the opportunity to experiment with new approaches and to discuss your own professional challenges with your colleagues and faculty facilitators. Our program demonstrates how to maximize people and resources, develop a broader understanding of integration across functions, and make accurate projections to enhance your organization's effectiveness and profitability. The WPI Executive Leadership Program shortens the learning curve for new leaders by developing the skills needed to achieve excellence as a cross-functional executive.
Management Master of Science Degrees offered online
In addition to the online MBA Program, WPI offers three Master of Science degrees online. The MS in Information Technology is comprised of cutting-edge courses that address the latest advancements in the business environment. The MS in Marketing and Technology Innovation focuses on the ability to understand 21st Century marketing trends, analyze markets and forecast growth opportunities in a rapidly changing, technology driven environment. The MS in Operations Design and Leadership is a comprehensive program that includes the management of service and production, with an emphasis on the leadership skills needed to facilitate improvement within organizations.
Systems Engineering
WPI has combined its strong reputation for technical content with core components of systems design and development, resulting in a cohesive graduate program that helps develop world-class systems engineering professionals. These interdisciplinary programs are constructed with a solid foundation of systems thinking, decision making, and project management skills. Our broad range of topics in science, engineering, and management allows us to customize the technical content to address topics relevant to specific businesses. A final capstone project ties the technical content together, as well as focusing on planning and integration on the system level. Customized Blended Programs
The technical capabilities at WPI are extensive, and our Corporate programs make great use of all available options. A Blended Program is a combination of face-to-face classroom time, along with course materials delivered through the internet. We have the capacity to do web-conferencing, video streaming, synchronous (at the same time), asynchronous (at the time an individual wants to view information on the web), and a variety of other convenient methods. The traditional face-to-face classroom time is combined with the internet delivery to provide a cohesive program that makes the best use of an employee's time, and allows for maximum productivity.

We are pleased to add a new location in Cambridge for open enrollment Professional Workshops. The Hyatt Regency Cambridge is conveniently located at 575 Memorial Drive which overlooks picturesque Boston. Workshops offered at this location include: Fundamentals of Project Management, Advanced Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Process Mapping, and Implementing the Five S + 1 System - Creating the Visual Workplace.
