Managing Outsourced Projects
Program Description
Seminar Leader: Kanan Alhassani
In an increasingly competitive global environment, organizations are constantly looking for methods to reduce the costs of development and production as well as reduce the time to market of the delivery of those products and services. Effective outsourcing has become of the key tools organizations are deploying to meet these critical objectives. Partial or complete outsourcing of the scope of projects is becoming more the norm than the exception. New challenges to today's project management teams are created which impact effective levels of planning, control and communication.
This workshop will provide solutions, processes, tools and techniques to mitigate and/or reduce these challenges.
This workshop is consistent with the basic skills inventory of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®).
Prerequisite: Attendees should have completed a project management seminar or have substantial background in project management.
