Program Description
Being a successful manager has never been more challenging than today. Rapid technological innovations, global competition, shrinking profit margins, and a tight labor pool are just some of the issues facing managers on a daily basis. Today's managers are being asked daily to find ways to increase productivity and reduce turnover while integrating new technologies and responding to escalating customer demands. This Institute will dramatically improve your management skills so that you will be more successful in motivating and managing individuals and teams.
Through lecture, discussion, leadership assessment and participant feedback, you will achieve greater insight into the best practices of managing and leading. In four intensive days you will learn how to hire the best candidates, manage performance, build teams, solve business problems, manage conflict, overcome resistance to change and exceed customer expectations. Having determined your own areas for development, you will prepare a personal action plan to become a more effective manager. You will leave this institute with new insights, strategies and techniques that you will be able to put into practice immediately upon returning to your workplace.
