Program Description
This results-oriented seminar will show you ways to save time and money on all of your projects...how to get projects completed on schedule and within budget - maybe even ahead of schedule and under budget!
In today's dynamically changing business environment, projects are initiated under tighter budgetary, regulatory, resource and time constraints than ever before. Projects are often initiated with only partial user needs and requirements defined, and project managers are constantly faced with the challenges of providing schedules, resources and cost estimates based on uncompleted project requirements or unclear criteria.
In this intensive two-day workshop, you will learn how to establish and implement a structured approach to planning, implementing, controlling and closing projects. You will learn proven "real life" methods and techniques to utilize in managing your projects. In addition, you will learn how you can communicate effectively and shore the responsibility of managing projects with team members, customers and management.
WPI's Fundamentals of Project Management seminar is consistent with the basic skills inventory of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
