Program Description
In today's business world teamwork is an integral part of organizational life. American companies are seeking effective and smart team players who know how to motivate people, build consensus, overcome roadblocks and make appropriate interventions. Companies are also looking for effective coaches who support and teach team members to keep the team on track and moving forward. This two-day workshop focuses on the teambuilding, coaching and leadership skills that are necessary for productive teams. You will learn about the intricacies of team development, how to identify the signs of team dysfunction and strategies for instituting appropriate corrective actions. You will learn how to create and manage a team and you will have opportunities to evaluate your own strengths and limitations as a team player and to practice your coaching and leadership skills.
This intensive workshop features a learn-by-doing format combining discussions, case studies and activities. The emphasis is on applying the learning to on-the-job situations and includes a variety of challenging problem-solving activities.
