Program Description

WPI's Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing seminar goes beyond WPI's basic program by placing emphasis on a more in-depth treatment of the fundamental principles of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. In just one day you will learn unique applications of true position and extended datum principles. Through lectures, discussions and workshops, you will better understand and interpret the effects of RFS (regardless of feature size) and MMC (maximum material condition), as well as learn its impact on functional gage principles.

At the end of the seminar you will have the skills to successfully convey design intent, improve quality and reduce costs in the design to manufacturing process. Attendees receive a copy of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Workbook by Al Neumann, which covers the 1994 standard - reaffirmed in 1999.

Note: To benefit from this seminar, attendees should have completed a basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing seminar or have substantial background in the subject.
