Advanced Design of Experiments
Program Description
This intensive, two-day workshop adds a new dimension of understanding experimental design beyond what was taught in WPI's two-day Introduction to DOE Workshop. Developed in response to requests from past DOE attendees, participants will examine more advanced tools and techniques including ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), three-level designs and Taguchi designs.
Attendees will also be given the opportunity to share results of previous experiments with the instructor and fellow students. At the end of this workshop, you will have the opportunity to plan for future experimentation on your products and processes.
Prerequisites: Attendees must have successfully completed WPI's two-day Introduction to Design of Experiments Workshop and have applied some of the workshop's designs on their own experiments. Attendees are asked to bring non-confidential data and results of experiments with them to this workshop.
What You Will Learn
Who Should Attend
Engineers, scientists and technical managers and staff in quality, production, process control and R & D interested in optimizing experimental design techniques beyond the introductory approaches.
