James Doyle, PhD

Professional Site

Focusing on psychology and human decision factors, James's research and teaching merge the quantitative aspects of decision making and risk analysis with the human factors inherent in system dynamics. He is a member of the American Psychological Society, Society for Judgment and Decision Making, and Society for Risk Analysis. He is an Associate Professor at WPI.

Bob Eberlein, PhD

Head of Product Development, Ventana Systems, Inc.

Bob is responsible for the development of the Vensim software package. His research has focused on analysis of dynamic models, applying statistics to dynamic models, and the dynamics of national development, project management, marketing, telecommunications, and manufacturing. He has taught at the University of Alberta in Canada.

Andrew Ford, PhD

Faculty, Washington State University

Andrew teaches system dynamics modeling with an emphasis on energy and environmental problems. His research uses system dynamics to study public policy making on energy and the environment, with a special focus on the electric power industry. He is Professor of Environmental Science at Washington State University.

James H. Hines, PhD

Consultant; Faculty, Brown University

An expert in the field of system dynamics and organizational evolution, Jim conducts research in an effort to create a new capability for storing, analyzing and visualizing simulations. This specific work focuses on supply chain management. He teaches at MIT and Brown University.

James M. Lyneis, PhD

A consultant in the fields of strategic management and system dynamics, Jim's research has focused on project and economic dynamics, market and industry behavior, forecasting and business strategy. He is a Professor of Practice at WPI.

Michael J. Radzicki, PhD

Professional Site

Mike's focus is on combining Post Keynesian economics and Institutional economics with system dynamics computer simulation modeling to create a more powerful form of heterodox economics. Mike's current research involves the creation of a Post Keynesian-Institutional-System Dynamics macroeconomics model that will be used to develop policies for helping nations achieve full employment and price stability. Additionally, he is working on a book that traces the history of economic thought via system dynamics. He is an Associate Professor of Economics at WPI.

Khalid Saeed, PhD

Professional Site

Focusing on sustainable economic development, Khalid uses system dynamics as his research method. His studies regard policies as structural and institutional changes in a system which alter the system's internal tendencies. He is a Professor of Economics & System Dynamics at WPI and past president of the System Dynamics Society.

Kim Warren, PhD

Principal, Global Strategy Dynamics, Ltd.; Faculty, London Business School

Kim's work focuses on Strategy Dynamics - a fact-based approach to understanding and delivering business performance through time. This includes an emphasis on business performance following its current path, the results if current paths are followed, and the design of alternate strategies to improve future performance. He is a Teaching Fellow at the London Business School.
