With 18 academic departments to draw from, we are able to offer a variety of certificate and degree programs including interdisciplinary options. Format flexibility allows organizations to select the courses that are aligned with their particular needs.

Sample Program Offerings
Biotechnology – Graduate and Undergraduate certificate programs are available in Biotechnology to help advance employees knowledge within their field. Focus options include bioprocessing, bioscience regulations, operations planning and process improvement.
Bioscience Management – Designed to help employees in the bioscience industry increase their technical and managerial knowledge and skills.
Mechanical Engineering – Students are directly exposed to the multidisciplinary nature of modern mechanical engineering. Graduate courses cover fundamental engineering sciences, and special topic courses with exposure to state-of-the-art research topics.
Impact Engineering – This program is based on providing an application independent skill set, with potential application as diverse as tissue mechanics through ballistic impact. Use a common suite of theoretical, analytical and experimental tools to solve problems in a variety of industrial applications.
Power Systems Management - This specialized program combines essential topics in power systems engineering with technology-focused business courses.Systems Engineering - WPI has combined its strong reputation for technical content with core components of systems design and development, resulting in a cohesive graduate program that helps develop world-class systems engineering professionals.
Faculty expertise
Courses for our Corporate Education programs are taught by the same faculty as our on-campus programs. All of our faculty members are experts in their fields and many are working on cutting-edge research in their disciplines. Many faculty members are also active members in the professional community through research partnerships, consulting services and business ventures. Corporate Education takes care in selecting professors to match their academic and professional acumen with the needs of individual organizations.

Graduate Degree Credit
All of the courses offered as part of your company's customized graduate certificate programs will be applicable to an appropriate graduate degree program at WPI for employees who choose to continue their studies. Since credit is granted for all corporate programs, the credit may also be transferred to other universities if students wish to pursue their degree elsewhere in the future.
