Linking Private Sector Training Needs with Public Sector Training Funds

TRAINING FUNDS AVAILABLE IN 2009 TO ELIGIBLE MASSACHUSETTS ORGANIZATIONS!

WPI Corporate and Professional Education is hosting a FREE information session for Massachusetts companies to learn more about the Commonwealth's programs to help employees prepare their workers for the future. Mr. Doug Riikonen and Ms. Johanna Hall from the Commonwealth Corporation's Applicant Assistance Program will lead this information session.

The session will focus on the latest information for the General Grant. A brief discussion of the Express and Hiring Incentive Grants will be included. Information about the Commonwealth Corporation’s Applicant Assistance Program will be presented as well. A comprehensive packet of information will be distributed – including a proven seven-step application process and time line. Special features of this session include an interactive question and answer session and networking opportunities.

The major focus of the fund is for FIRST TIME APPLICANTS from small- to medium-sized businesses that would not be able to make a training investment in their associates without assistance.
